No matter how beautiful, strong, righteous, rich, or young, you will die one day. It is a scary thought, but a reality we cannot avoid.

Major beliefs on, "how to make sure things go well for you after you die", centre around being good.

Lets look at some test of goodness with some of the 10 Commandments to see if you measure up.

"You shall not steal."
Exodus 20:15

Have you ever illegally downloaded a movie or show?

Many people put a lot of hard work into making it, and you have stolen it for your entertainment.

"You shall not commit adultery."
Exodus 20:14

"You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.' But I (Jesus Christ) tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
Matthew 5:27-28

Have you ever looked lustfully at someone?

Each person is a miracle of life with thoughts & feelings, but you Have intended to take and use them as an object for your selfish sexual gratification.

"You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them;..."
Exodus 20:4

Have you ever loved things in the world more than God who gave you everything?

Have you even thanked God for everything you have?

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
John 3:16

"Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on them."
John 3:36

Is you heart moved to love and accept Jesus Christ, or will you reject Him and trust in your own goodness?

Jesus Christ (God in human form) died for the sins of the world.

He was also raised to life, defeating death. He invites us to turn from sin and join Him in this new life.

I encourage you to learn more about Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible. He's the only hope of everlasting life we have.

The Holy Bible is a collection of over 60 books, written by over 40 different authors, over a period of more than 1500 years. All in alignment with who God really is.

The book of Mark is a good place to start learning about Jesus Christ. The first 4 books of the New Testament are all eye witness accounts of Him.
